Major offences C are serious violations that threaten the safety, integrity, or reputation of the school community. These actions warrant immediate and firm intervention. Nkhwazi Primary School maintains a zero-tolerance stance on issues such as examination malpractice, substance abuse, sexual harassment, and violent conduct. The disciplinary process for major offences is progressive but firm, ensuring that consequences match the severity of the behaviour, while also safeguarding due process for all pupils involved.
- 1st Offence: Warning letter to parents and a disciplinary committee meeting by Deputy Head.
- 2nd Offence: Appearance before Head teacher.
- 3rd Offence: Suspension from school for 2 days.
- Further Action: Exclusion from school (with all suspension and exclusion procedures followed).
- 1st Offence: Bar pupil from subject(s).
- 2nd Offence: Bar pupil from the entire examinations.
- 3rd Offence: Suspend pupil(s) from school.
- Further Action: Exclude pupil(s) from school (with all suspension and exclusion procedures followed).
- 1st Offence: Verbal warning and counselling.
- 2nd Offence: Written warning to parents, counselling and appropriate action by Deputy Head.
- 3rd Offence: Suspension from school.
- Further Action: Exclusion from school.
- 1st Offence: Verbal warning and counselling.
- 2nd Offence: Written warning to parents and a meeting with pupil, parents and Deputy Head for appropriate action.
- 3rd Offence: Suspension from school.
